ON BEING THE GREEN MONKEY BABY'S CELEBRITY MOM OF THE MONTH
I was completely surprised. I felt so honored to have been thought of in that way...as a celebrity mom. As a mom, you don't expect to be recognized as a great mom, you just see yourself as a mom. Being honored in such a way sure doesn't happen every day.
FAVORITE GREEN MONKEY BABY ITEM
Of course, I have girls so I can't help myself but to shop for clothes. It's just so fun. My favorite product is the Babylegs that TGMB carries. I fell in love with them last winter. They're so great and easy to just throw on and let them have fun running around...especially during the winter. I also just love to bring the girls into the store because they have such a great time playing with the wood toys while I shop. TG MB isn't overwhelming and packed with stuff, that of course, we moms don't have time to sift through anyway.
CELEBRITY MOM TIP
Well...take it from a mom with 2 kids in 17 months, people say it gets easier and I haven't found that to be true. It doesn't get easier...it's just different as they grow. I think it's important for moms to understand and cherish that. You know, just when you say to yourself, I can't stack blocks another day, the next day, you find yourself anxious to do it all over again, just in a different way, as they grow. Enjoy every phase of their lives and appreciate that it doesn't get easier but it is different each phase.
PS from the owner...Jennifer is definitely our fashionista! She makes looking like a stylish mamacita very easy and yet I can barely get a headband on in the morning before running out the door. =)Labels: Jennifer Parsons (August 2008)
